Who Chiropractic Care is For
Our Chiropractic Services
To support your unique needs and goals, we offer a range of chiropractic assessment and treatment modalities.
Please note that a chiropractic assessment is required to begin any rehabilitation program.
-
Manual chiropractic care includes joint mobilization and gentle manipulation techniques designed to improve movement, reduce pain, and support spinal and joint health.
-
Hands-on soft-tissue therapies, including Active Release Techniques, are used to address muscle tension, adhesions, and movement restrictions. These techniques are often combined with joint care to support efficient, pain-free movement.
-
Medical acupuncture is an evidence-informed treatment approach used by chiropractors to support pain reduction, tissue healing, and neuromuscular function. At Kinective Health & Performance, our chiropractors are trained in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through the McMaster University Certificate Program, widely recognized as the gold standard for learning this modality.
Also referred to as neurofunctional or electro-acupuncture, this approach uses fine, single-use needles applied to specific anatomical targets such as nerves, muscles, tendons, and joints. Treatment focuses on modulating the nervous system to improve pain, circulation, healing, and muscle tone as part of a comprehensive chiropractic care plan.
Medical acupuncture is an optional component of care and is only provided with informed consent after a discussion of assessment findings and recommended treatment options.
-
Dry needling is a technique used to target myofascial trigger points and areas of muscle tension. By stimulating specific tissues, dry needling may help reduce pain, improve muscle activation, and restore normal movement patterns as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
-
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) treatment addresses dysfunction of the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, which may contribute to jaw pain, headaches, neck tension, clicking, or restricted movement. Treatment may help reduce jaw pain, clicking, headaches, and movement restriction.
-
We assess and manage concussions, a form of traumatic brain injury that affects brain function and is commonly caused by impact to the head, neck, or body. While symptoms are often temporary, some individuals may experience persistent issues without appropriate management.
Our chiropractors trained in concussion assessment complete comprehensive physical and neurological evaluations to understand your symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of care. Concussion management at Kinective Health & Performance follows current international guidelines, which recommend a brief period of relative rest during the first 24–48 hours, followed by a gradual and supported return to cognitive and physical activity.
We provide clear, individualized action plans to help manage symptoms and guide safe progression back to work, school, or sport. As recovery progresses, we assess readiness for full activity and support a confident, evidence-informed return when the time is right. Treatment may include manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and progressive movement strategies, based on your presentation and goals.
-
Chiropractic care for chronic pain focuses on comprehensive assessment, movement restoration, and nervous system regulation. Treatment plans may combine manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, and education to support long-term symptom management.
-
Custom orthotics may be prescribed to support foot mechanics, correct biomechanical issues, relieve pain, and improve comfort for overall movement efficiency. At Kinective Health & Performance, your orthotics will be custom-designed to your feet in order to address your unique needs. Please note that an in-person assessment with one of our chiropractors is required in order to prescribe and produce custom-made orthotics.
-
The Longevity Physical Health & Wellness Assessment is a comprehensive, science-informed evaluation designed to identify early signs of physical decline and support long-term health and resilience. This 90-minute assessment goes beyond a standard check-up, focusing on how your body moves, performs, and recovers over time.
Assessment components may include evaluation of strength, mobility, cardiovascular and respiratory fitness (VO₂ max), body composition, and other key physical health markers. Findings are used to identify risk areas early and establish a clear baseline for future health.
You’ll receive a personalized health scorecard and a practical, actionable plan to support improved movement, energy, and physical performance, helping you maintain function and quality of life as you age.
